Ann and Nick really had a lot of fun with their wedding guests at their wedding at Nature’s Point on Lake Travis! Ann began her having hair and make-up done at Avant Salon not too far from the studio before making her way out to Nature’s Point. Both Ann and Nick were very athletic into triathlons and cycling and all that kind of stuff that just makes my body hurt hearing about. It was a wonderful ceremony performed by Chaplain Larry Todd whose cheerful and hilarious attitude put every one at ease and did a wonderful job of including a message meaningful to everyone. The couple performed a Chinese Tea Ceremony, common in Chinese weddings where the new bride offers tea to her and her new husband’s family. After the ceremony the couple ate an absolutely amazing feast of salmon and prime rib by Austin Catering. The caterer also made a cobbler that was astounding. On top of that the couple had a wonderful and tasty wedding cake by Michelle’s Patisserie all of which nearly put me in a sugar coma but it was worth it. Central Market did the flower arrangements with Ann herself designing the centerpieces. The couple and their friends danced to the Mobile Magic DJ whose big booming radio voice kept everything humming along on schedule
