November 9, 2013, proved to be a very popular wedding date here in Central Texas. Nicole and Carter booked the date with us over a year in advance. Over the next several months, we probably received at least half a dozen inquiries. We got one from Edna who was inquiring for her friend, Sarah. We emailed right back letting her know that we were already booked and referred her to our favorite local wedding photographers. A week later we got a phone call from Edna inquiring about the same date. I asked if she had gotten the email I had sent and told her, so sorry, we were already booked. Several more weeks later, we got a call out of the blue from the coordinator at Gabriel Springs asking if we were available for February 15, 2014, because she had a bride who was very eager to book with us. Lo and behold, it was Sarah, who was so eager to book with us she was willing to change her wedding date. It wouldn’t be the first time that has ever happened to us, but it’s always flattering. We were overjoyed to be photographing Sarah’s wedding after all! And we got to meet her maid of honor, Edna, too :-)
Sarah and Harrison’s wedding turned out to be such a beautiful affair. She truly looked liked a princess in her bejeweled wedding gown. With her lovely, fair skin and luscious, dark locks, I kept thinking of Snow White. Harrison just lit up every second he was near her, and his love for her just poured out of his soul. The weather was absolutely perfect, for which we couldn’t have been more grateful with all the crazy weather Central Texas has seen lately. We wish Sarah and Harrison a lifetime of happiness together!
