Christina and Marcus had the perfect fall wedding at Gabriel Springs with some adorable rustic touches. They found these fabulous old wooden doors to walk thru to the ceremony. They also had the hardest working groomsmen we have ever seen who put the doors together and took them apart between the ceremony and reception! Ashley with A Bunch of Weddings did a spectacular job coordinating the wedding and putting her special touch on everything. Having photographed a lot of centerpieces with table numbers in the way, I loved how the table number was printed on the burlap squares under the centerpieces. Christina’s gorgeous hair and makeup were by Rebekah from Halo Hair Studio and Sarah of Show Stopper Make-up. The bridesmaids’ soft blue dresses were beautifully accented by these stunning orange bouquets by Bouquets of Austin, each one made with different flowers. As everyone walked down the aisle, Musical Discovery Chamber Players played Coldplay, the Beatles, the Foo Fighters, and Muse. It’s so fun when couples mix up the music for the ceremony. This was our first “unplugged” wedding, and we hope the trend continues. Cornish hens were my favorite when I was a kid, and I was so excited to see them on the menu from Good, Better…Best Catering. Who doesn’t love having a miniature chicken they get to eat all by themselves? They also served scrumptious beef in Gorgonzola sauce and dilled salmon all with custom sides. After dinner, the guests were treated to cake from Simon Lee and fun and festivities with Live Oak DJ and photobooth.
