Kristi and Craig were the sweetest couple! We enjoyed getting to know them and their families so much. As die hard Longhorns, they had to have their wedding at the UT Alumni Center. Kristi and Craig did a first look early in the day, so they would have time to go around campus with their wedding party and take some awesome shots in front of the tower and on the mall. Well, it just happened to be Explore UT that weekend, which claims to be the “Biggest Open House in Texas.” There were high school and middle school students EVERYWHERE! Not daunted at all, Kristi’s dad asked the crowd, “Who would like to be a in picture?” Dozens of excited, future Longhorns jumped into the picture, and we got such a great shot that definitely captured the feel on campus. All the ladies had gotten ready at Black Orchid Salon on South Congress where the stylists did a fabulous job with their hair and makeup. Since Craig proposed at a picnic, they wanted to include some picnic like touches. Check out the gorgeous wildflower themed bouquets and arrangements by Bouquets of Austin and this incredible groom’s cake shaped like a grill complete with hot dogs and burgers sizzling away by Simon Lee Bakery. The couple chose to do a unique ceremony in the rotunda at the Alumni Center, and Gypsy Moon Guitars played beautifully for the processional and recessional. Rosemary’s Catering did an amazing job as usual, and Sean with ATX DJ kept the guests dancing all night. We had quite the fun-loving bunch of bridesmaids as you can see! Thank you so much to Ally with In Her Shoes Coordination for doing such a fantastic job keeping everything running smoothly all day.
