Shannon and Reese met at Texas State University. They didn’t expect to hit it off as well as they did. Fast forward to a few years later, and they knew they wanted to tie the knot. Most of their family was out of state, so a big wedding just didn’t make sense. Though now living in Houston, they decided that Austin was the place to elope, and they chose us to document their special day. Their intimate ceremony was held at Mueller Lake Park and witnessed by two close friends. Then we got to spend the rest of the afternoon and evening taking their amazing wedding portraits at the park and then at the Long Center. We love it when our clients give us the time to do something really special. This is what Shannon had to say about the results:
Dear Travis & Christina,
I must say, I could not be more thrilled with the photography. My mom and I were on the phone for hours last night as we scrolled through the images for the first time…I eventually stopped counting the number of times she gasped, laughed, and even cried as she saw them one by one.
Not only did you capture gorgeous photos of our wedding day, you provided us the opportunity to share them with my mom on Thanksgiving Day; it was was first time in 5 years that the distance between us felt so small.
Thank you for all the time you spent with us, and for your amazing talent.
Shannon
Wow, I think I may have cried myself reading that! It was an honor, Shannon and Reese, thank you so much for the opportunity you gave us!
