Raina and Jason hired us months ago for their April 18, 2009 wedding at the Hamilton Twelve. It’s always nice to have plenty of time to get the engagements portraits done since my guestbooks are printed in Japan and take a month to get back, but 11 months was probably the earliest I’ve ever done engagment portraits.
Raina’s hair and makeup were done at Rochelle Rae’s salon on 38th St. Her makeup by Rhea McCarter was amazing.
We had a blast at the Capitol experimenting with yet some more new lighting techniques. These first two shots look like scenes out of Orson Welles movies. Then we headed out to the 360 bridge for some more drama.
