Jessica and Dave were referred to us by a mutual friend, and we are looking forward to their wedding at Zilker Botanical Gardens in April. For their engagement portraits, they wanted something fun and very Austin. We hit up a couple of those infamous murals before heading to the Long Center for that iconic Austin skyline. It had poured the day before when the session was originally scheduled. Thankfully, the next day was absolutely gorgeous as you can see! Our favorite time to do portrait sessions is two hours before sunset because the light is starting to soften right at that time for these playful daytime shots, and then as dusk settles in we can get these dramatic night shots all in one session.
