Traci and Donnie booked us way back in September of 2012. It was a good thing for them because we ended up getting so many inquiries for their October wedding date. They had originally wanted a date in September, but luckily for them, they changed their date, and the weather was the most perfect it could possibly be on their wedding day. They had found us through their venue, Kindred Oaks, where we are preferred vendors. It was the perfect venue for their laid back, vintage wedding with lots of country details. One of our favorite things about working at Kindred Oaks is that the bride usually chooses Zuzu’s Petals for her florist, and we get to photograph such gorgeous floral creations like Traci’s exquisite purple and orange bouquet. But everything about this wedding was beautiful. Divaz Fabula did a fabulous job doing Traci’s hair and makeup and getting her and her girls all gussied up. My jaw just dropped when I first saw Traci’s gorgeous Maggie Sottero wedding gown. Donnie liked it too! After a touching ceremony under the oak trees, all the guests enjoyed a finger licking good meal from Capital Barbeque and delicious cake from Kayla Knight Cakes. Then it was on to the dance floor where D&C Entertainment kept the party going all night. I think my favorite part of the wedding was Donnie dancing to Gangnam Style in his cowboy hat!
