Chapel Dulcinea is a gorgeous little wedding chapel nestled in the Hill Country. It is absolutely perfect for elopements and small weddings and is actually a free wedding chapel built especially for that purpose. We had the pleasure of photographing Marissa and Andrew’s gorgeous wedding there last October. It was a very early morning ceremony and not wanting to be late we left with extra time to spare and ended up arriving before anyone in the wedding party. As everyone arrived, we enjoyed greeting them and could feel the excitement and anticipation in the air. I just fell in love with Marissa’s glamorous vintage bridal look from her stunning wedding dress from Cloud 9 Bridal, to her lovely birdcage veil, to her dramatic red lipstick, and last but not least, to her exquisite parasol. The bride’s mom had let us in on a little secret: Marissa’s brother was able to make it to the wedding after all, and it was a complete surprise to the bride! Marissa was so overjoyed when her brother walked into the bride’s room. What a privilege to capture a moment like that! Marissa could barely contain her happiness as she walked down the aisle to the man of her dreams on her brother’s arm. Beautiful music from Angelic Strings echoed through the open air wedding chapel as Andrew saw his lovely bride coming towards him. The little glances they gave each other during the ceremony were so sweet. They sealed their vows with a kiss and joyously rang the chapel bells. From the look on his face, I don’t think Andrew was prepared for how loud they would be! Marissa and Andrew, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your special day.
